Robin Hood

My homeschool group just put on a production of Robin Hood. I played the evil Lady Merle, cousin to Prince John. It was a very fun play to do and we were so blessed to have such talented people involved in it. Here are some pictures that were taken during a performance:

Spring, Spring, Spring

I love spring!!! It is my very favorite season! The lovely flowers blooming and new life!

We decided to go out and take some pictures when we saw the lovely flowers that had sprung up overnight.

Michelle, my kid sister, is completely in love with our horse, Jess. She loves him dearly, and I wouldn't be surprised if he loved her back! :)

Spring, Spring, Spring!!!

We also saw a squirrel enjoying the lovely Spring weather!

Homeschool Cotillion

Well, this past Saturday, I attended a Homeschool Cotillion which my homeschool co-op put on! It was SO much fun and we got to dance all sorts of fun dances such as the waltz, swing, Virginia Reel, Heel and Toe Polka, etc. Here are some pictures:

Paris!!!

While in Germany, my mom and I decided to take a day trip to Paris!

We got to see the Mona Lisa at the Louvre

We heard the bells of the Notre Dame Cathedral (and were nearly robbed by a gypsy!),

And we saw the Eiffel Tower!

My favorite part was going to a bookstore (across the street from Notre Dame) and getting four antique books (Lorna Doone, Little Dorrit, The Importance of Being Earnest, and a book of short stories).

Here are some pictures I took while in Paris:

Germany

Well, I went on a little trip to Germany last month and took some pictures of two castles we got to go and see! :) It was an amazing experience to be able to go to Germany! Although it was cold, it definitely was not tourist season. Thus, no long lines! Inside the castles, I could just imagine living there! Oh...if walls could talk, those walls would tell plenty!

Michelle's Medieval Dress

Here is the improved version of Michelle's Medieval dress. I made a brown vest to wear on top of the dress. I slit the skirt up the middle and added a white underskirt that peeps through the slit. I also added trim around the bottom of the dress, around the sleeves, and around the bottom of the vest.

Here are pictures of our Medieval dresses. They still need lots of improvement... :)
