For Narnia, and for Aslan!

Okay, so...I'm obsessively in love with the Chronicles of Narnia! Whether reading the book, listening to the Radio Theatre dramatization, or watching the movie...I LOVE it all! In my dreams, I find a magic wardrobe in an antique store, and go in it, and am in Narnia. But, alas, that has yet to actually happen. So....

Well, anyways...I thought I'd post some pictures, video clips, and whatnot from the two most recent Narnia movies, and the upcoming one too.

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

Edmund: "Perhaps we've been incorrectly labeled."

Peter: "For Narnia, and for Aslan!"

Aslan: "Do not cite the Deep Magic to me Witch, I was there when it was written!"

Susan: "Why are the all staring at us?"
Lucy: "Maybe they think *you* look funny."

Older Lucy: "Spare 'Oom?!"

Aslan: "Once a king or queen of Narnia, always a king or queen.

Lucy (after seeing Father Christmas): "Told you he was real."

Prince Caspian

Reepicheep: "We've anxiously awaited your return my liege."

Edmund: "It's King Edmund, actually. Just king though. Peter's the high king. I know, it's confusing."

Lucy: "I wish you would all stop trying to act like grown-ups. I didn't think I saw him. I did see him."
Trumpkin: "I *am* a grown-up."

Susan: "Oh no, pretend you're talking to me."
Edmund: "Uh, we *are* talking to you."

Oh! I SO love Narnia (and CS Lewis... he was an amazing man :-). I get excited every time I see pictures of the Narnia movies - Prince Caspian is my fave so far... But I'm thrilled about The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, it's always been one of my favorites! And I hadn't seen those new pics of it... Anyways, I hope to see you at one of the fall reenactments! (sorry to have never replied to that email you sent months ago... life is crazy :-/

I do too!!! Even watching the trailers for the movies! :)

We want to go to some...are y'all planning on going to any? How about the Bonnie Blue Ball in Winnsboro?

Ahhh... reenactments. I don't really know. I was so hoping to go to the Hallsville event as it's just 30 minutes from us. But I think we're going to be out of town that weekend :(. So I don't know, we should make it to Tyler and maybe Liendo.
I just signed up for the Bonnie Blue Ball. It wasn't like a really fancy ball last time but we thought it'd be a fun social gathering. I'm hoping some of our local friends will be able to come. And of course it'd be a blast if you all and maybe even the Shannons could come. but I know how life is crazy busy :-)

Hahaha, well...we are going to Fort. Richardson this weekend. And we also signed up for the Bonnie Blue Ball. We spoke with the Shannons and they said they won't know if they can make it until closer to the actual date. I sure hope they can!
