the theatre. the theatre.

I love the theatre.
truly.

the thrill of arriving at the theatre...dressed ever so nicely.
sitting down.
looking through the program.

the announcements finish.
the lights dim.
and the music begins.

this summer we've enjoyed countless youth productions. all of them quite excellent.

Les Miserables @ artisan theatre
The Pirates of Penzance @ backdoor theatre
Robin Hood @ cottage theatre (CHE)
School House Rock @ CHE

I agree! Plays are so fun to see! We recently saw Cheaper by the Dozen. It was all youth. They were so good! Wow! You are lucky to be able to see all of those. They look fun!

Man, just by your description of theatre I have a slight interest already! I've only been in one play & loved it!
I like the idea of all that you described :)

I was in a Musical this year, it was a lot of fun. Here is a link to some photos from the show. http://reelchristian.blogspot.com

I realized that you said you would like to live in Ireland or Scotland when you grow up, so I thought that you would be interested to know that the next show we are doing is Brigadoon. Have you ever heard of it? It is about a Scottish Village!

Lydia: Oh how fun! :) haha yes I LOVE Brigadoon. my friend and I will randomly look at each other, put our arms into a scottish dancing pose, and begin singing "Go home with Bonnie Jean" while attempting the skip hop dance from the movie. lol...
